Volunteering Opportunities

Rotary is a service organization and its members are all volunteers who do work for the Greater Good of our community

Volunteering with Rotary gives you a chance to fulfill your own desire to give back to something greater than your own life—often leading to great friendships and other opportunities

Rotarians are often asked if being a member of Rotary “pays” and we often answer by letting them know that we get paid in smiles. Without question, the satisfaction of knowing our efforts helped make someone happier and healthier is the best payment we can receive.

While every Rotary Club may have a different set of service projects, Club members often volunteer in local fundraising events or hands-on volunteering efforts such as:

  • Rotary Club Fundraisers
  • Area Service Projects
  • Joint Rotary and Rotaract Events
  • Pancake Breakfasts
  • Rise Against Hunger – Food-packing Events
  • Clean the World – Toiletry Donation Processing

For some Rotarians, the opportunity to volunteer locally is often a stepping stone for greater volunteering opportunities—including global projects such as vaccinating children against Polio or Rotary Global Project Partners like ShelterBox.
