Global Service Projects
General descriptive statement of this page
The opportunity to nurture your leadership skills is not limited to your workplace. In fact, many people work in a company for years without ever having a chance to develop their leadership aptitude.
Rotary is an organization that draws its strength from the Rotarians who choose to Serve Above Self as Club Members. However, every Rotary Club is a unique and independent organization that requires a Board and Directors, along with a yearly-elected Club President.
Depending on the size of a Rotary Club, members can serve on a variety of Club Committee positions, including:
- Club President
- Club Secretary
- Club Treasurer
- Membership Chair
- Rotary Foundation Chair
- Service Project Chair
- Public Image Chair
- Programming Chair
- Youth Services Chair
Additional roles are often created to meet other areas of opportunity. Also, many Rotary Clubs have co-Chairs and committee delegates who work together to accomplish service projects, global grant programs or fundraising events, among many more.
